ClickQuick, What do you Make? (continued, part 2)
For
example, Beyond.com doesn't offer the most unique program in the
world, or the highest commissions, but their site and product
offerings make a very good fit for one of the best-selling product
categories on the Internet. After receiving several emails containing
nothing but praise for the Beyond.com program, I went ahead and
made them a Top Rated Program. However, over the last 6 months,
subsequent emails have shown that Beyond.com's program has fallen
in terms of profitabilty, leading many affiliates to switch away
from it.
However, in the end, do remember
that the most important factor is to match the programs you join to the audience of your
site. Just as ClickQuick would not do that well trying to sell travel reservations, a
nature-related site would not do well promoting Virtualis.
