You do have the ability to make it an automatic pop-up, or one that only opens after your visitors click on a link. They also offer a new tell-a-friend service. Focalex currently offers 16 main targeted mailing lists that are listed in the pop-up window. They range from music to auctions. They also offer several hundred other lists, each even more specifically targeted, on a separate page that your visitors can link to from the pop-up window. You only receive $0.40 for each subscriber, no matter how many lists they sign up for, but the wide variety of choices increases the possibility that your visitors will find a list of interest. Using their quick application form, it takes about 5 minutes to sign up and become an affiliate member. Checks are issued on a monthly basis, with no minimum commissions to be earned, making this an excellent program for even low traffic sites. A good potential strategy for this program, if you have your own newsletter, is to add their link on your subscription confirmation page on your web site. That way, when someone signs up for your newsletter, they are presented the option of signing up for additional lists. Since they may be in a 'subscribing mood', you should see a good percentage of referrals. Focalex also offers a two-tier referral program allowing you to earn $0.03 on each subscriber generated by webmasters you refer for 6 months after their referral.
