Company Overview:
FocusIN (previously known as Datacom)is a pay-per-click ad network that highlights that they represent over 3500 web sites delivering over 165 million banner impressions per month. They also state in a press release that they were the first pay-per-click network to host media-rich banners (such as banners using Flash, Shockwave, and HTML).
Program Details:
Their network pays a minimum of $0.15 per click, depending on what 'Level' your site meets. At Level 1, as long as your site meets all standard terms and conditions for the program, you are eligible to earn at least $0.15 per unique click-through referred. If, in addition to meeting the standard terms and conditions, your web site serves over 1 million impressions per month, you are considered Level 2 and are eligible to earn at least $0.17 per unique click-through. To reach Level 3, you need to deliver at least 5 million monthly impressions, and earn at least $0.19 per click. At all levels, a unique click is considered one click per 24 hour period from the same IP address.They also host some CPM (pay-per-impression) ads that are mised in the the pay-per-click ads. At Level 1, the minimum CPM is $0.65, meaning you earn $0.65 for every 1000 banners of this type that you display. At Level 2, the minimum CPM is $0.75. At Level 3, it increases to $0.85. Note that for both CPC and CPM, these are the minimum amounts you will earn. They state their averages are actually considerably higher. Additionally, the FocusIN program is two-tiered, paying 5% commissions for each Level 1 account you refer and 7.5% for each Level 2 account. For example, if you refer a Level 1 web site that generates $20 in monthly click-through commissions, you will earn an additional $1 ($20 x 5%). If you refer 10 Level 2 accounts, each generating $30 in monthly commissions, you would earn #22.50 per month. Unfortunately, there is no additional commission for hosting media-rich banners, but FocusIN does promise that all banners are below 14kb to insure quick loading pages. An additional limitation, although probably for the better, is that only one FocusIN network ad can be added to each web page. Checks are to be issued on a monthly basis, once commissions reach $50. Online statistics are provided to allow you to track your site’s performance. FocusIN does promise that all banners are G-rated.

Overall comments on FocusIN have been positive. Their payment history is reported to be quite good. Ad click-through rates are reported to be higher than some of the lower-ranked pay-per-click networks.
