eAds is a banner network that provides a several unique features to their affiliates. They have recently lowered their payments to affiliates across the board, with rumors that they are winding down their business.
Program Details:
First the basics. eAds will pay you $0.05 per unique click-through that is generated from your site. A unique click-through is defined as one click from a unique IP address, per banner, within a 24 hour period.eAds makes the sign-up process very simple, and it should take less than a few minutes. They accept most sites as long as they receive over 100,000 impressions per month, are in English and do not contain the standard no-no's such as nudity, hate messages or illegal content. Once you have been approved you will have access to change your contact information and copy the appropriate linking code. eAds advertisers have included a selection such as AskJeeves and theglobe.com. Unfortunately, you can't choose specific ads, but rather general categories. This is somewhat limiting, especially if you want to target specific ads to your visitors. They provide online stats that detail clicks generated daily, the total amount you are currently owed, monthly earnings and the total number of clicks generated year to date. eAds has recently updated their online reporting, providing click-through stats on a daily basis. This resolves one of the frequent complaints webmasters had, since they previously only updated monthly. Checks are issued monthly, once you have accumulated a very reasonable $10.
Visitor Feedback:
Their program has received a variety of mixed feedback over the last several months. A few complaints have included that eAds sometimes sees low click-through rates and slow responses to member questions. Several other complaints have surfaced since their recent reduction in rates, as well as rumors that they are not going to be able to stay in business, given the current ad environment.
