Company Overview:
Click Agents, based in San Jose, CA, offers a fairly standard banner network that promises to pay $0.10 for each click-through you receive from the banners you host for them on your site. Payout can go as high as $0.30 if you have a very high traffic site. Higher rates start at $0.12 per click when you reach 30,000 ad views per day. They claim to operate the Internet's third largest network, with over 37,000 member web sites.
Program Details:
Click Agents highlights that they offer 63 categories of web sites for advertisers to target, and boast clients such as AutoTrader, TalkCity and DealTime. Impressions and click-throughs are measured by their servers, and it should be noted that like most programs, the HTML code they provide for you to display banners can not be altered in any way. They also offer unique HTML code that can be used in email messages, newsletters, or text links on your web site. Adding to Click Agents links into embedded software is also acceptable.The Click Agents program also includes a referral program that promises to pay you 10% of what each new member you refer earns. This works out to about a $0.01 commission per click that your referred members each generate. Online, real-time statistics are available detailing both the click-throughs you have generated from your site, as well as referral commissions. Checks are issued monthly once you have accrued $50 in commissions, with about a five day processing period. They plan to lower this to $25 in the near future. They only accept English-language sites, and require at least 3,000 page views per month to join. Of course, sites with inappropriate content are also not allowed, such as adult, warez or pirated music.
Visitor Feedback:
Feedback on ClickAgents has been mixed. Some ClickQuick visitors have reported very good results with this program. A few others have complained that the ClickAgents tracking system might not accurate, resulting in reduced commissions. It should be noted however that most of these complaints were received in early 2000.Recent comments on ClickAgents have been generally positive, which is reflected in their improving rating here on ClickQuick.com. Additionally, the recent acquisition of ClickAgents by ValueClick should have a positive effect on this program.
