Mamma.com is a meta-search engine that pools results from many of the other leading search engines into one ranking of sites. The main advantage of this type of system is that it creates a much more thorough search than any one engine can provide on its own.
Program Details:
Mamma.com's affiliate program allows you to add a Mamma.com search box to your web site, allowing your visitors to easily begin a search. For this, they will pay you $0.03 per search conducted from your web site. For sites that offer their own search features, Mamma.com also offers an integrated search affiliate program to replace the need to have search boxes on your site (assumes you are using a Unix system).Similar to most other search engine programs, one limitation of Mamma.com's program is that you only receive the $0.03 for the initial search. If the visitor goes on an performs 20 other searches while at Mamma's web site, you will still only receive the $0.03, unless the visitor returns to your site to begin each search. Mamma.com does provide online reporting to affiliates, and checks are issued monthly once commissions have reached $25 (i.e. 834 searches have been performed). Although this program may work best for niche directories and search related sites, almost any site can augment their earnings by adding Mamma.com in place of links to other search engines which pay nothing.
